French Kicks album still in the works. The band is currently in LA recording and hope to have it done by March, or July. Can't wait.

I used to talk a lot about the Seattle band Crystal Skulls. Their debut album Blocked Numbers was superb. Their second effort, Outgoing Behavior will be released April 11th on Suicide Squeeze, embarking on a tour with Minus the Bear ending at SXSW in Austin. They will come to Mercury Lounge afterwards, playing March 30 with The Big Sleep. Save the date.

New York's own Surefire has signed with Lizard King Records in the UK. They will open for The Subways at Bowery Ballroom on March 7.

The Boy Least Likely To will open for James Blunt at Webster Hall on March 14 and 15. Their TISWAS show has been canceled, for now.
